With the extreme heat in June we had to rely on the E-bikes more than usual later in the day however for the most part we cycled on Eco. We also, took a side route to Chenonceau castle which added 30km to the 62 km trip to Villandry which made it a long day but worth the castle tour! [...]

We had a lovely trip through Brittany on this tour, and would recommend every aspect of it with these two caveats: The tour is worth it without visiting an island, but if you want to do the island visit, check with the ferry companies before you book, as they may not be available on the day you want to go. Secondly, I am a 72 year old but reasonably fit woman, but I could not push my ebike (no walk-assist) up the recommended cobblestone route to the hotel in Dinan. My husband had to help me. [...]
